How to Apply

Become a GCC student in 3 simple steps

To complete the process you will need:

  • Your PPS number
  • Your email address
  • Your mobile phone number

Important:

If you are under 18 years of age when you apply, you will receive a Parental Consent Form which must be completed before you can complete your application.

Places are offered subject to availability and satisfying the course entry requirements (see course pages for details).

In order to accept this offer, you will be required to complete the application form and pay Student Services Fee or a non-refundable deposit of €50.

REGISTER - Click here to pay course fees and complete Learner Details Form

You will have to complete the Learner Detail Form on eNROL and upload various documents to complete registration. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Applicants who fully complete registration will secure their place, subject to places being available.

After paying the course fees, you will be required to provide the following to your coordinator at Induction:

  1. Proof of identity
  2. Proof of eligibility to participate in a PLC course (if applicable)
  3. Evidence of medical card or BTEA for fee exemptions (if applicable)

First Come, First Served

Each step of the application procedure will be processed on a first come first serve basis. Should a course become oversubscribed waiting lists will be applied. It is your responsibility to follow the above instructions regarding applying, accepting and registering.

Change of Mind

If you are not proceeding with your application please email gcc@gretb.ie to cancel your application. This allows us to offer your place to another applicant. If after registering on one of our courses you change your mind, you must inform us before the 30th September to receive a full refund of the course charges you have paid. The €50 Acceptance Fee is not refundable.

Commencement of Academic Year 2024/25

Induction for each course will be scheduled in mid September. Information will be sent via email to the email address provided on your application form and on the college website.

Timetabled classes will commence mid to late September. Timetables will be provided at Induction.

Teaching Technologies

Each fully registered GCC learner will receive a Microsoft Office 365 account. This will include an @gretb.ie email address which is the only email account teachers will use. Learners will have access to Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and TEAMS. TEAMS is the digital platform used for all teaching, learning and assessment.
