Course Outline

Successful students gain an industry standard in Pilates Teaching and up-skill as a fitness professional. On successful completion, students will receive an ITEC Diploma and a Component QQI Level 6 Award in Sport Recreation and Exercise Studies. This qualification will equip learners with the practical experience and knowledge to gain successful employment in the sport and fitness industry. There is also the potential to start your own fitness business.

Fees

€175 GCC Student Services Fee applies to all learners.

€80 QQI Certification Fee applies to all learners except

  • Those in receipt of Back to Education Allowance.
  • Medical Card Holders (valid at time of Registration).

€500 Course Fees (This includes; ITEC Diploma in Pilates & Exercise Specialist)


Non EU Students are subject to an International Fee.

We advise non-EU citizens living outside Ireland to contact the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service on www.inis.gov.ie to ensure the course you are considering applying for is eligible for a student visa. Non-EU citizens living in Ireland are welcome to apply and require a PPS number (Personal Public Service Number). Work Experience

Students gain invaluable experience working directly with pilates instructors and applying the knowledge in a range of population settings.


Special Features

Additional qualifications may be offered to eligible students and awarded by the following accredited bodies.

These include;
ITEC, NCEF, National Sporting Governing Bodies, Galway City Sports Partnership, Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) and Sport Ireland.


Entry Requirements

Successful completion of a QQI Level 5 Award in Sport & Recreation Studies 5M5146 or equivalent and Interview.
